Hello Family, Friends and Community,
I write again today to reiterate how grateful and humbled my Mother, my Father and I have been over the last many years for the continued support in our fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. I am not able to capture the gratitude that I feel in words – but know that it is the type of appreciation that soothes my grief, warms my soul and gives me hope.
We have asked often and been answered repeatedly for support. Unfortunately, there are still many unknowns in regards to Alzheimer’s – no known prevention, no effective treatment and no cure.
And so, I ask for your support again. In less than two weeks, I will be skiing in the 2019 Camel’s Hump Challenge on Team Susie Backlund – a fundraiser for the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Team Susie has set a $10,000 goal again this year (we raised over $6,000 in 2018!) and with your help we can meet our goal again.
If you have a few minutes, I urge you to watch this video to see WHY I am fighting today and will continue to fight until the word Alzheimer’s is found only in history books.

Now, if you have a few dollars, I ask that you consider donating to Team Susie.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
