Our team is back for a second year of fundraising and cycling, honoring Larry Conway. This year, we are almost tripling our mileage and challenging ourselves with a three day ride across the state of SC!

The Purple People Eaters represent our Papa, who had such a fun and wacky attitude. We wish he had more time with us; time to enjoy golfing, playing card games, telling silly jokes, singing funny songs; time being a husband, father, grandfather, and meeting his great-grandkids. We also ride for our Grammy, who fought alongside him everyday, took care of him through the worst of it all, and was the strongest wife. We hope this fundraiser and this cause can bring cures for current and future victims and hope to their loved ones.

Our team is excited to be participating in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, a unique 255-mile, cross-state journey for cycling enthusiasts who are passionate about ending Alzheimer's disease. Our mission is to raise the funds needed for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and over 11 million are acting as their caregivers. We all know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease.

We are going the distance for all those affected while raising funds and awareness to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. There is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research — only dollars. That's why we are asking for your support.
