On July 8-10, I am planning to ride my bike from Simpsonville to Mt. Pleasant, SC (252 miles) to raise funds for research, support, and care of those suffering from Alzheimer's and other types of dementia.
I ride in memory of my loving father in law, Joe, who we lost 10 years ago to this disease, as well as the growing number of friends that this has stricken.
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer's or other dementia!
Previously known as A Ride to Remember, this event raises funds for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
By participating on the Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, I'm fueling support services and cutting-edge research to change the trajectory of Alzheimer's disease. Each dollar I raise helps advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's and provide help for those facing dementia today.
