Crew & Volunteer

You don't have to be on a bike to get involved with the Ride to End ALZ! Our crew and volunteers are the backbone of this event. They throw their passion to end Alzheimer's and a little magic into the mix, which is what makes Ride so much more than just a cycling event.

Crew members put a little extra "skin in the game," and commit to joining us during the entire weekend, plus attending a couple of pre-Ride trainings. Our Crew members take on a strong leadership role and act, under Ride staff, as volunteer leads. If you're a born leader, love sweating the details and have a passion to end Alzheimer's, you belong on our crew. (Spaces are limited.)

Our volunteers have passion, and it shows. Here are a few of the ways our volunteers make Ride to End ALZ great:

  • Hospitality
  • Packet pick-up
  • Opening ceremony assistance
  • Rest stop support
  • Set up/tear down
  • Route support

Volunteer shift(s) on Ride weekend typically last around three hours in length. After you sign up, you will be placed on a team led by a crew member. During the year, both crew and volunteers will also have the option to help with one-day projects and at local and regional events to help grow the Ride.

We couldn't do this without our crew and volunteers. You make Ride weekend a safe and meaningful experience for all. Thank you for your support!
