How do I get my steps into the app?
Apple Health and Google Fit automatically track the steps you take while carrying your phone and/or wearing an Apple Watch/Wear OS linked to your Apple Health/Google Fit app. You can open the Walk app and tap "start" each day to capture your steps, or view your step count in Apple Health/Google Fit and manually enter your steps by tapping the "+" icon under "Activity" in the "Get Active" section of the app.

Can I use a pedometer, FitBit, Garmin Watch, or another wearable device?
You can use any wearable device to track your steps, then manually enter your daily step-count into the Walk to End Alzheimer's app. We are on the honor system — simply enter the steps you take each day. More integration options are on the way for fall!

Where can I see my progress compared with others?
In the app, you can go to the "Get Active" section to see your steps compared to others participating in the challenge for your local Walk event. You will also see step challenge leaderboards on the local event homepage beginning May 9.
