Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide and locations in our region, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
This year’s event won’t be a large in-person gathering, but we are still walking — and calling on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease. This year, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail. On event day, we invite you to participate in small, safe teams while others in your community do the same.
This year, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, trail and track. And although the world may look a little different right now, one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to the fight against Alzheimer’s.
Your health and safety are our top priorities. Walk to End Alzheimer's won't be a large in-person gathering this year — instead, we invite you to walk in your neighborhood in small teams* of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Because we’re all walking and fundraising for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
*All participants should follow CDC guidelines and local health recommendations when deciding to walk with those outside of their household.
Earlier this year, we held one of our most popular registration challenges ever -- our Superhero Challenge. As Walk is quickly approaching, we thought we’d bring that challenge back for one week only. But this time, you’ll have to act quick!
The first 20 Team Captains to register in Central and North Florida this week (8/3-8/9) will receive a branded superhero cape! This is the perfect accessory to wear while you walk this year or to just have as a reminder of what a hero you are! #ENDALZ
Joining a Facebook Group is your best way to stay updated on the Walk to End Alzheimer's and interact with other walkers and fundraisers in your area.
