When you participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the funds you raise fuel the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and help advance critical care, support and research. Every dollar counts. Watch the video to learn more about fundraising for Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Tips for getting your fundraising started:
Lead by example: Make a self-donation to show your commitment to the cause.
Update your personal fundraising webpage with your story — your reason for participating in Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Send pre-written emails from your Participant Center to ask for support from friends, family and co-workers.
Host a game night, bake sale, or other fundraising event.
Tap into your social network by starting a Facebook Fundraiser.
Download the ALZ Fundraising mobile app (available on iPhone and Android) to send fundraising messages, deposit checks and more.
All participants who raise at least $100 will earn the official Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt.

Incentive Prizes
As a thank-you for raising funds and awareness, all registered participants can earn prizes through the Walk to End Alzheimer's Incentive Program. After individual fundraising is tallied, participants will receive an email from our vendor, Halo, with information about their gift level and how to redeem prizes.
Check with your local Walk staff for more details, including your fundraising deadline. Gifts are not cumulative.
Champions, Grand Champions and Elite Grand Champions
The Walk to End Alzheimer's Champions Club recognizes and rewards participants who reach special fundraising milestones. These individuals are leading the way in the fight against Alzheimer's — and you can, too!
All Champions Club members receive:
- Fundraising badge on your personal fundraising webpage.
- Personalized thank-you certificate.
- Acknowledgment on your local Walk website.
Champions
Become a Champion by raising at least $500 and you'll receive a commemorative medal.
Grand Champions
When you raise at least $1,000, you'll earn the title of Grand Champion and the exclusive fundraising status that comes along with it. You'll also receive a special T-shirt to show off your success.
Elite Grand Champions
Once you’ve raised $2,500, you’ll be in the company of greatness as an Elite Grand Champion. As part of this esteemed group of fundraisers, you'll earn a one-of-a-kind hoodie and the glory of being a top-tier champion for those facing Alzheimer's.
Champion, Grand Champion and Elite Grand Champion status are based on your individual fundraising efforts, not the amount your team has raised collectively.
Individuals who reach Champions Club status will receive these benefits in addition to their selected incentive prize. All Champions Club rewards and incentive prizes will be sent directly to qualifying participants by mail. Registered participants should visit their Participant Center to ensure their correct address is on file.
