This $200,000 Match Challenge is made possible by a generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous. They have pledged to triple-match all gifts made to this challenge by December 31, up to $200,000, and their gift will support the Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP), a funding initiative to accelerate drug development breakthroughs that could help mitigate the toxic effects of tau protein “tangles” in the brain. Because tau tangles are implicated in a number of neurodegenerative disorders, the research made possible by T-PEP could potentially benefit individuals living with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, frontotemporal dementia and more.

All individual donations received in response to the challenge match offer will go to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. For all challenge match campaigns, donor dollars are matched until the goal or the deadline has been reached, whichever comes first.

Your gift may be tax-deductible if you itemize your deductions and meet the federal requirements.
