$500,000 2X Match Challenge
Dear Friend,

Alzheimer's disease is costing us in ways that cannot be measured. We lose the people we love or witness their tragic decline to this devastating disease. Alzheimer's is also a financial challenge — costing our nation more than $321 billion in 2022 — and a serious threat to our health and our lives. We're counting on you to help change the trajectory of Alzheimer's. Please accept this challenge and do all you can to help, while you can make 2X the impact in this urgent fight.

Generous supporters Sharon and Al have pledged to match all gifts, up to a total of $500,000, if we can raise that same amount by April 1. Inspired by their personal experiences, especially with caregiving, their gift will help provide support and respite care programs at their local chapter. By meeting this challenge together, we can continue to provide care and support, and to advance research toward a cure. But time is running out, and we still have a long way to go to reach our goal. I need your help now.

As we come to the end February, a month in which we celebrate love, I'd like to ask you to open your heart. Please take the next step in your commitment by making your first gift of $11 or more today to represent the more than 11 million caregivers in the United States. These amazing caregivers, many of whom are family members to people living with Alzheimer's, inspire us with their compassion, dedication and courage. They need our help now — while your first gift can go 2X as far.
$500,000 2X Match Challenge
Scientists are making real progress every day. You may have heard about the new and emerging FDA approved treatments that slow disease progression for individuals with confirmed early Alzheimer's disease. For people living with Alzheimer's and their families, every discovery like this offers new hope.

Today, the growing Alzheimer's drug development pipeline is robust with a wide variety of treatment strategies. As I write this, there are more than 140 unique therapies being tested in clinical trials as possible treatments for Alzheimer's disease, including trials funded by the Alzheimer's Association.

You'll help support this remarkable progress with every gift you give to the Alzheimer's Association. I thank you in advance. Along with pushing for tomorrow's progress, you're also helping provide necessary care and support to those who need it today. And you can make TWICE the impact on our efforts when you give now, during this $500,000 2X Match Challenge.

Your gift can be DOUBLED in impact in the fight to end Alzheimer's.
$16 can become $32.
Many are selecting this.
$30 can become $60.
$50 can become $100.
Double my impact now.

Friend, I'm truly grateful to know this fight matters so much to you and I hope that I can rely on your generosity at this crucial time. Thank you in advance for donating today while your first gift can go twice as far. Your first contribution to the Alzheimer's Association today can be matched in impact 2X to help drive our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

In shared commitment,
