Mental and physical exercise may help slow cognitive decline

Experts say that you may be able to slow or stall age-related loss of cognitive function with mental and physical exercise, diet and other activities. The Alzheimer's Association U.S. POINTER study seeks to evaluate whether lifestyle interventions that simultaneously target many risk factors protect cognitive function in older adults at increased risk for cognitive decline.
