Focus on emotions when responding to repetitive behavior
|
A person living with Alzheimer's may repeat a word, question or activity or undo something that has just been finished. In most cases, they’re probably looking for comfort, security and familiarity. When responding, think about how the person is feeling rather than react to the behavior.
