Study finds ‘This Is Us’ Alzheimer's storyline encourages conversations

A new study explores the impact of an Alzheimer's storyline in the popular show "This Is Us" in which one of the lead characters is living with the disease as her adult children disagree over her care. Monica Moreno, Alzheimer’s Association senior director of care and support, said seeing these themes in shows, books and movies can help people gain a fuller picture of Alzheimer’s and caregiving.
