Alzheimer's Association DONATE NOW
2023 Annual Fund Drive
Dear Friend,

There are so many reasons to donate to our 2023 Annual Fund Drive. But with just about 72 hours until we close the door on this year's drive, I'm going to give you the Top 5:

1. Your gift to our Annual Fund Drive will help lay the groundwork for the Alzheimer's Association to start 2023 off strong. We have ambitious plans to expand our virtual and in-person care and support offerings, research investments and more — and knowing we have the resources in hand will help us roll out those plans to offer help and hope to even more people affected by Alzheimer's. Your first gift before the January 31 deadline can make a profound impact on our fight.

2. You'll help us expand and enhance care and support programs for more families across the country who rely on us all year long. With your help, we can continue to provide support all day, every day for people living with Alzheimer's and all other dementia through our support groups, education programs, our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and with online resources at alz.org. By making your first gift to our Annual Fund Drive now, you will help improve dementia care and better the lives of those living with the disease in 2023 and beyond.

3. You'll help build on serious momentum in Alzheimer's and dementia research. Through our current investment of more than $310 million, scientists are engaged in over 950 active best-of-field projects in 48 countries. The growing Alzheimer's drug development pipeline is robust with a wide variety of treatment strategies that could change the course of Alzheimer's — and that could happen this year with your help. Your first gift before January 31 will help us continue to accelerate the best dementia science worldwide throughout 2023 and beyond.

4. You'll support our unrelenting advocacy efforts to end the Alzheimer's public health crisis. The ongoing efforts of the Association and the Alzheimer's Impact Movement (AIM), our separately incorporated advocacy affiliate, resulted in the introduction of the Alzheimer's Accountability and Investment Act. This legislation ensures that Congress hears directly from scientists on what resources they need to prevent and effectively treat Alzheimer's disease. Your first gift to our 2023 Annual Fund Drive will power our efforts to advocate for needed increases in Alzheimer's research funding and policy solutions.

5. I'm honored to share our 2023 Supporter Card with you as a symbol of the personal investment you're making on our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Please consider it an expression of our appreciation for your future partnership.

Alzheimer's is an escalating global health crisis, and barring the development of medical breakthroughs, nearly 13 million Americans will be living with the disease by 2050. We must do everything we can, with everything we have, to fight this devastating thief of a disease at this critical time. Whatever motivates you to give today, know that your generous contribution will help pave the way toward a future free from Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
