Alzheimer's Association DONATE NOW
$150,000 4X Match Challenge
Dear Friend,
I'm thrilled to report that just a few hours into our $150,000 4X Year-End Match Challenge, we've had a tremendous outpouring of support. But we really need the help of everyone in our Alzheimer's Association community to unlock this amazing match before midnight. Can you please take a moment and make a year-end gift now, while it can go 4X as far?

Donate Now

Friend, I know I don't have to tell you how remarkable a 4X match is — particularly today, the last day of 2021. Nor do I need to tell you that this is your last opportunity to make your year-end gift, which may be tax-deductible, to offer compassionate care and support to the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease.

So instead, I'll tell you some of the phenomenal things we've accomplished over the last year. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to:
  • Answer more than 220,000 calls through our 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), offering free confidential support and information to people facing Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
  • Invest $70 million in Alzheimer's and dementia research, including more than $59 million in grants to 253 new scientific investigations.
  • Advocate for an increase in Alzheimer's and dementia research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of $300 million, bringing federal funding to $3.2 billion annually.
And I know that with you by our side, we'll achieve even greater things in 2022.

In just a few hours, we'll ring in a new year — with both new opportunities and new challenges. Please help ensure we can provide high-quality care and support and accelerate global research through 2022 and beyond. Make your first gift now, while you can quadruple your impact on our work to offer help and hope to all affected by Alzheimer's.

A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has pledged to quadruple-match every gift made before midnight tonight, up to a total of $150,000. Their gift will benefit the Tau Pipeline Enabling Program (T-PEP), a funding initiative to accelerate drug development breakthroughs that could help mitigate the toxic effects of tau protein "tangles" in the brain. Because tau tangles are implicated in a number of neurodegenerative disorders, the research made possible by T-PEP could potentially benefit individuals living with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, frontotemporal dementia and more.

If you share our donor's commitment to our fight, when you make a gift at this pivotal moment, you can make 4X the impact and make a significant difference in enhancing care and support and advancing research. And, you can even make your year-end gift as a tribute, in honor of a loved one. Can I count on you?

Please make your year-end gift now, while it can go 4X as far.
$16 can become $64.
$30 can become $120.
$50 can become $200.

Happy New Year, and thank you for your commitment to our fight. Together, we will continue to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

With deep appreciation,
