What's Happening to Grandpa?

What's Happening to Grandpa?
Book by Maria Shriver

Grandpa has always been the best storyteller Kate has ever known, but lately, he seems different.  He repeats himself, becomes easily frustrated, and then one day, he even forgets Kate's name.  When her mother explains Grandpa's disease, Kate is overwhelmed.  What will happen to him?  How does her mom and grandma feel about it?  Will others in her family get sick too?  How will she explain it to her friends and younger siblings?  With remarkable strength and creativity, Kate not only explores these questions, but also resolves to cherish her grandpa's life and memories.  In doing so, she forges a bond between them that will remain forever in their hearts.

In this best selling children's book, Maria Shriver presents a truly touching story that inspires, guides, and educates- and encourages readers to open their eyes to the beauty and love that our elderly loved ones have to offer.
