Early-Stage Alzheimer's Care A Guide for Community-Based Programs Early-Stage Alzheimer's Care A Guide for Community-Based Programs
This book has three purposes. The first is to provide information for people who plan to start early intervention programs for Alzheimer's disease patients.
The second purpose is to provide a new resource for the families and friends of patients.
The third purpose is to present the patient as a person who still has abilities, emotions, and plans, and who deserves autonomy, respect, and compassion. To that end, this book discusses myths about Alzheimer's disease, behaviors that can be expected, and strategies to deal with them.
