A generous anonymous supporter has pledged $68,000 to match all donations made to the Alzheimer's Association Central and Western Virginia Chapter postmarked or made online by December 31, 2013. Every dollar you contribute will be matched doubling your impact and expanding our programs and services.
“When a loved one is
diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, family, friends and acquaintances are all
affected and you immediately look for information about the disease. We looked to the Alzheimer’s Association for
answers and experienced firsthand all of the resources offered by the
Association from caregiver support groups to an early stage discussion and
education group for those with memory loss and their caregivers. We met people with the same questions and concerns as we have. Like everyone, our future is unknown and
unpredictable, but we know we are not alone.”
