Support Jack on his second journey as he travels on foot from Tybee Island, GA to Monterey, CA!
On January 12, 2013 Jack Fussell started
running from Skidaway Island State Park near Savannah, Georgia and didn't stop until he reached Monterey, California! At 62 years-old and after 10
years of training – Jack is one of four men over the age of 60 to take on this journey,
the fourth documented person to run from Georgia to California and most
importantly, the first to run across the country for Alzheimer’s disease!
Jack's hope for his trek across the land was not only to help call attention to
a disease that is increasing rapidly, but to also successfully campaign to raise
funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Jack has decided to complete another cross-country journey in support of the Alzheimer's Association! Jack will leave on November 6th, 2014 from Tybee Island, GA and will arrive in Monterey, CA on foot. Show your support by making a donation below. Be sure to follow him at www.acrosstheland2015.com.
