The health and safety of our constituents, volunteers and staff remain our driver as we address the COVID-19 outbreak and as we continue to pursue our mission, today and in the longer term.

Based on the guidance from local public health agencies, the 2020 North Carolina State Advocacy Day originally planned for May 6 will now be taking place through Virtual Town Halls throughout May. Additional details on these virtual events will be coming soon.

While the Alzheimer’s Association staff is working remote, operations will continue to support our mission. As always, the Alzheimer’s Association is available to you 24/7 for around-the-clock care and support at 1-800-272-3900. Please check alz.org/northcarolina for details on any other meetings and events.

Speak up for the needs and rights of people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.

  • Learn about the legislative process.
  • Bring awareness to the importance of the Alzheimer’s Association public policy priorities.
  • Meet face-to-face to “make your pitch” to elected officials.
  • Tell your personal story to key decision makers affecting policies for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
