Spring 2015 Conference- Greater Pittsburgh Making Meaningful Connections We will spend the day exploring ways to make meaningful connections with persons with dementia and their caregivers throughout the course of the disease. Featuring Dr. Daniel George, Assistant Professor in the Humanities Department in the College of Medicine at Penn State University, presenting “'Socialceuticals': A prescription for relationship-based care in our aging communities.” We also welcome presentations about Therapets, Music Therapy, supporting a smooth move from independent living to assisted care settings, and end stage engagement.
