There you are sitting face to face with your elected official, now what? Sharing your story with a lawmaker can be an intimidating experience, but it doesn't have to be. Everyday lawmakers go to work and are constantly being given advice on how to vote, what to make a priority and how to move legislation from paid lobbyists and special interests groups. The voice they really want to hear from is the voice of their constituents.
Join me for a virtual conversation where we will explore the importance of storytelling and how, when done effectively, it makes an enormous difference. This conversation will be held on Thursday, March 6th from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
This will be your opportunity to ask questions, to learn more about the Alzheimer's Impact Movement, and learn how the experiences of our advocates is helping us advance policy at the state and federal level. This will be available for you to access on-line and will be conducted by our policy staff. We will also be joined by an advocate who will share their experiences advocating on behalf of our issues.
