Moving Forward/Advances in Alzheimer's Research and Approaches to Care

Dr. Gong Chen of Penn State University will present an update on his latest research on in vivo cell conversion and brain repair.
Lynn James, MS, RD, LDN, of the Penn State Cooperative Extension will present on the impact of dietary and lifestyle choices on brain health, with particular focus on the benefits of a Mediterranean style diet.
The Staff of The Connections Program at Juniper Communities will discuss their approach to care with the integration of art, music and other ancillary therapies.
The day will conclude with a panel discussion of caregiver issues including family and professional caregivers.
