Margaret C. Sewell, Ph.D. - Keynote Speaker

Dr. Margaret C. Sewell is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and the Director of Education for the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Specializing in geriatric psychiatry, Dr. Sewell is the Director of the Memory Enhancement Program, a wellness program aimed at memory improvement in older adults. She provides lectures to healthcare providers and the general community on a wide range of topics related to aging and dementia. She conducts neuropsychological test evaluations for those with memory complaints, and assists their families and caregivers. Currently she is collaborating on a project examining research attitudes in minority elders in the community. Dr. Sewell received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from New York University.
