“The Alzheimer’s Journey”

Please join us for an inspiring day of fellowship and education as we explore the journey of Alzheimer’s disease!

Dr. Maya Lichtenstein of the Geisinger Aging Brain Clinic will take the attendees through the diagnostic process and subsequent follow up.

We will listen to Sharon Biehner share her experience as a family caregiver for her mother and her volunteer experience.

Misericordia University’s David and Brenda Hage will provide information on Alzheimer’s care management through the disease.

Martin McGurrin from Hospice Sacred Heart will review the PATHPalliative care approach/program.

We will be joined for a “Panel Discussion” by representatives from Adult Protective Services of 3 counties with insight into elder abuse and reporting.

On a light but not least note, we will enjoy some stress reduction yoga techniques.
