 PRESENTS “COPING WITH CAREGIVER STRESS” WORKSHOP

Are you a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia? Do you often feel overwhelmed?  Caregivers frequently report experiencing high levels of stress, but too much stress can be harmful.  If you find yourself so overwhelmed by taking care of someone else that you have neglected your own physical, mental and emotional well-being, you may be putting yourself and your health at risk. Please join the Alzheimer’s Association, Long Island Chapter at the complimentary Coping with Caregiver Stress workshop on Thursday, August 15th or Saturday, August 17th (additional time/location info below).  Learn the 10 symptoms of caregiver stress and get tips to reduce the stress and avoid burnout.  Find out about the resources, tools and support offered to caregivers through the Alzheimer’s Association.
