The Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting its annual Conference on Alzheimer’s & Other Dementia, formerly re-named BRAINWORKS in Des Moines on April 19.

This day-long educational conference is appropriate for:

• Professional caregivers
• Family caregivers or family members
• Individual in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or another dementia
• Those in the community wanting to learn more.

Staying educated throughout this disease process is critical to staying healthy, active and able to plan for the future.  This conference is designed to provide support and latest dementia education.  Topics include:  research update, driving & dementia, healthy brain, caregiver burnout, and caring for a parent.
