We need your voice! Please join us in Salem for the 2014 Alzheimer’s Advocacy Day. Last year's Advocacy Day helped increase funding for services for people impacted by Alzheimer's, and it led to the endorsement of the State Plan for Alzheimer's Disease in Oregon (SPADO). We need you to speak with your elected officials and speak your mind again to ensure implementation of SPADO and the safety of people with dementia who wander. Your legislators have to hear from you on Lobby Day! We will provide training, materials, and lunch. Note: You must RSVP to attend this event. We are no longer accepting new registrations. Email Jon Bartholomew with questions. Important Documents for Advocacy Day 2014 Lobby Day Message Points - Background information on Alzheimer's, the Alzheimer's Association, and the issues we will be discussing with legislators. Advocacy Day Presentation - These powerpoint slides provide information about the schedule and logistics for Advocacy Day (including links to parking information), as well as tips on how to lobby, and description of the issues we will be talking to legislators about. Capitol Map - A map of the state capitol you may find useful. Date:
