Help turn the South Carolina State House PURPLE by participating in our 2022 State House Advocacy Day!

The Alzheimer's Association will host our SC State House Advocacy Day on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. This event will provide opportunities for you to meet with your legislators in their offices as well as in the State House lobby to ask them to make Alzheimer’s a priority.

This event will be in-person. Masking should be in accordance with any local guidelines, though participants who wish may always wear a mask.

This year, we are asking legislators to continue funding the Alzheimer’s Caregivers Respite program that helps support SC families facing a dementia diagnosis.

Check-in will be at 8:00-8:15 AM at the Palmetto Club, 1231 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC. Please allow travel time for morning traffic and a short walk from the parking garage. You must be registered in advance to participate.  Please remember to dress professionally, have on comfortable shoes and WEAR PURPLE!

When registering, please enter your HOME ADDRESS so that we can accurately match you with your state legislators.

There will be limited occupancy available for this event.  Event registration ends Sunday, March 6th.  We ask you to register early!

If you have any difficulty submitting this form, feel free to email DeeAnn Jones, SC Advocacy Manager, at dmjones@alz.org or call/text 803-888-5628.

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
