You don’t have to live in Hollywood to experience the magic and excitement of Oscar Night.  Metro area residents can join in the festivities when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences stages its 85th Academy Awards® on Sunday, February 24, 2013 by attending the area’s only own Academy-sanctioned Oscar Experience: Omaha event.  The metro Omaha party is one of 49 official parties that will be held across the country on Oscar Night.

            Benefiting the Midlands Chapter Alzheimer’s Association, the Omaha metro Oscar Night celebration will be held at the Omaha Marriott at 10220 Regency Circle, Omaha, NE 68114, beginning at 5:00pm.  A silent and oral auction will be held before dinner and the dress code is formal/black tie.

Tickets are:

• $125.00 per person
• $85 for young professionals (35 years old and younger)
