RSVP today for the 2014 Vermont Town Hall Meeting on Alzheimer’s! This 2nd annual Town Hall Meeting is hosted by the Governor’s Commission on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) and the Alzheimer’s Association, Vermont Chapter.
Take advantage of this opportunity for positive discussion with fellow stakeholders in the dementia community and share your input on ways to enhance dementia education, support and services in Vermont. Help inform the Governor's Commission on ADRD's 2014 Report to Governor Shumlin and help identify our legislative priorities for 2015.
The Town Hall Meeting will include short updates by Commissioner Susan Wehry, MD, Vermont Department of Disabilities Aging and Independent Living, William Pendlebury, MD, Medical Director of The Memory Center at Fletcher Allen Health Care and Rhonda Williams, Chronic Disease Prevention Chief, Vermont Department of Health.
An open forum discussion with Dr. Wehry, Dr. Pendlebury, Ms. Williams and additional panelsits representing the LTC residential community, family caregivers and the Alzheimer's Association will follow.
When you RSVP you'll be asked to submit your question(s) for the panel discussion. Questions will be shared with all panelists prior to the event to promote a more in depth level of discussion.
