Join fellow Alzheimer’s advocates in Georgia for an exciting week of virtual advocacy urging Georgia’s state lawmakers to support people with dementia and their families!
The 2021 Alzheimer's Awareness Week will take place from Monday, March 1st through Friday, March 5th, and will feature a variety of ways to take action from the comfort of your home. We will begin our week of action during our virtual 2021 ALZ Awareness Week Kickoff on Monday, March 1 from 4:30-5:30pm.
Throughout the week, we'll be educating our legislature on the importance of supporting Alzheimer's priorities, including increasing funding for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), tackling the direct care workforce shortage, and addressing the impact of COVID-19 on long-term care facilities.
Advocates should feel free to participate in one, two, or all of the actions we have planned throughout the week depending on interest and time commitment. Register using the form linked below to indicate your interest!
