Growing evidence suggests that African Americans may be at higher risk to develop Alzheimer’s and stroke-related dementia due to higher incidence of developing vascular disease (including diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol).

This conference features top researchers and professionals from the Medical University of South Carolina and Roper St. Francis to provide information about education, research, and current clinical trials that are taking place. Join us to learn about how heart health impacts brain health, the importance of dental health, tips to reduce inflammation and more!

If you are a family caregiver for someone with dementia, complimentary sitter service is available through the Alzheimer's Association to enable you to attend. Please call 2 weeks in advance to inquire: 800-272-3900.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required by February 17th.
Click the RSVP button below to sign up. Lunch provided; seating is limited!
