Paul Michael Ramirez, Ph.D. - Dr. Ramirez is a Professor of Neuroscience/Neuropsychology, Psychopathology and Psychopharmacology within the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, and a Professor within the Graduate Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Long Island University in New York City. Prior to that, he had served as Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Ramirez has published numerous papers on cognitive and major mental disorders and been Principal Investigator on research grants from the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) and pharmaceutical industry sponsors. He is the senior author of a chapter called "The Diagnostic Family Conference in Alzheimer's Disease" which appeared in Alzheimer's Disease: A Physician's Guide to Practical Management (2004). Date:
