More about Charlotte’s The Longest Day Tennis Fundraiser:

• Charlotte’s The Longest Day Tennis Fundraiser was originally started in 2015 and has evolved to include multiple clubs throughout Charlotte. More than 200 players from all over Charlotte join together to play tennis for the Alzheimer’s Association. Together we have raised more than $108,534!
• Each club captain has been personally impacted by Alzheimer’s or some form of dementia and advocates for ending Alzheimer’s. Club captains actively recruit players and sponsors for the annual summer event.
• Each club event is unique and includes a variety of activities that are specific to their club. As we expand, pickleball and mahjong have been added to select sites.
• The event is in cooperation and supported by the Alzheimer’s Association’s campaign, The Longest Day, to honor those impacted by the disease and their caregivers.
