My mother, Mattie C. Williams, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2005. She passed away four years later of the disease. It was sad to see that her memory was slipping away. At times she was herself, but sometimes she did not know where she was or who her children were. I am hoping that one day there will be a cure for this disease.

She lived with loyalty to the Lord and also to her family and friends. Her jokes,laughter and kind words will be dearly missed. Our fight with Alzheimers will continue in her honor and memory.
