The Lucky Pouch

2014 The Longest Day

The Lucky Pouch

These Korean lucky pouches are something our grandmother used to make and give out to people. This is a symbol of giving love and warm wishes for us. On June 21, my team is participating in The Longest Day by making the lucky pouches in honor of our grandmother. From sunrise to sunset, we will complete this activity to raise awareness and funds for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. After completing the activity, we would like to return the lucky pouches to our donors as a gifts, like our grandmother used to.

Together, we can advance research to treat, prevent and, ultimately, cure Alzheimer's, and provide programs and support to improve the lives of those affected today.
