Visit act.alz.org/philadelphia for the most up-to-date totals. Who else is ready to be the #1 Walk in the country again this year? Let’s do this, Philly!

Keep in mind:  While the forecast looks partly cloudy, it will be chilly in the morning so please bundle up & wear layers! Get the most up-to-date weather forecast through FOX29!  In the rare event of extreme weather, we will post information on the main walk webpage act.alz.org/philadelphia

Walk Details

Registration/Check-In: 9:00am

Promise Garden Ceremony: 10:45am - Make sure you give yourself time to get through registration so you can witness this beautiful ceremony! You can pick up your Promise Garden flower in Lot S right behind Registration

Walk Start: 11:00am - View our Walk Route here!

GPS Address:  1 Citizens Bank Way l Philadelphia, PA l 19148

For Walkers who take I-95, your GPS will encourage you to take Exit 17 off of 95. This exit is fine to use but you may experience some back-up. You can also access the ballpark through Exit 19 onto Packer Avenue if you’d like to use an alternative route!

Arrival/Parking information: View the parking map here!  There’s plenty of FREE parking in the lots adjacent to where Registration will be located. Please park in lots T, U, W & V. Handicap & VIP parking is located in the bottom half of Lot S.

Walk Route Map: The Walk is 2 miles - check out the Walk Route Map! However, if you can’t do the Walk - no problem!  We will have a sitting area by Left Field Gate, closest to the stage, for non-Walkers. NOTE: Once inside, you are welcome to do loops throughout the concourse & kids can play in “The Yard” area located in Ashburn Alley near center field. Once done, you will exit left field gate!

Already Registered? Make sure you remember to check-In at Registration to pick-up your Walk wristband. You will also need to check-in to receive your T-shirt token*, Champions Club medal* & Grand Champion T-Shirt* (*if applicable).

Not Registered? Online registration will close on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 9am but you can still register at the Walk!  Print and fill out this registration form in advance, and bring to registration. Additional registration forms will be available at the Walk so you can register at the event.

Do I need to register my children for Walk?
Yes, children should register. Parents/guardians can register children online or complete an offline registration form and sign the waiver on behalf of the child. Children who will remain in their strollers do not have to register.

Again, everyone must go to the Registration/Check-In area!

Can I register and donate at the Walk? Yes! You can turn in any funds & register on Walk day. We will also be accepting credit card donations with our brand new swipers.

Can I bring a stroller? We do allow strollers, but for everyone’s safety, we discourage skateboards, bicycles, inline skates and wheelie footwear. Of course, wheelchairs are welcome!

Are dogs allowed? Yes! Doggies & pups are welcome to join the Walk but they must be on a leash at all times and must follow these Doggie Guidelines.

ATTENTION: ALL dog owners must provide proof of vaccinations through either vaccination papers or a vaccination tag worn by the dog in order to be on Citizens Bank property. You do not need both! Please visit the Doggie Tent to show proof of vaccinations and to sign the Doggie Waiver. Once checked-in, you will receive an Independence Blue Cross puppy bandana that will notify staff and volunteers that you have signed a waiver! Doggie Registration is located in Lot S (same lot as Registration) located by the entrance to Citizen’s Bank Way. View our map here for the Doggie Tent’s exact location. Download the Doggie Waiver in advance to bring to the tent. See your pups there!

Where do we go first once we arrive? ALL Walkers, even if you have pre-registered, should go directly to Registration/Check-In tent upon arrival which is located in top half of Lot S. View our Walk day map here to locate Registration!

How do I get a Promise Garden flower?
On Walk day, you will receive a wristband. Each registered walker with a wristband will receive a Promise Garden flower. Our Promise Garden tent will be directly behind Registration in Lot S. Please choose the color that best represents your connection to the disease.

  • Blue represents someone with Alzheimer's or dementia
  • Purple is for someone who has lost a loved one to the disease.
  • Yellow represents someone who is currently supporting or caring for someone with Alzheimer’s.
  • Orange is for everyone who supports the cause and vision of a world without Alzheimer’s

What do I do after I pick up my flower? Pick-up your T-shirt (if applicable), sign-up to become an advocate, learn about TrialMatch, grab a snack from our Food Tent courtesy of our Hospitality Sponsor, ShopRite, and get your team photo. Plus, we’ll have live music from Evolution Entertainment, Food Trucks, Kids Korner & more!

Why should we arrive at 9:00 AM or before the ceremony starts? You’ll want to allow time to visit all our sponsors & vendors, grab a bite to eat from our food trucks, enjoy some Zumba action at around 10am & time for your team to gather. View our sponsors & vendors here! In addition, you won’t want to miss our beautiful Promise Garden ceremony at 10:45am

I want a shirt!  How do I get an official 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt?   T-shirts are available to registered Walkers who fundraise $100 or more.  If you raised at least $100, or plan to donate to the $100 minimum, you’ll receive a token at registration. You can use that token to pick up your official 2018 Walk to End Alzheimer’s shirt at the T-shirt table which is located in Lot S right after the Promise Garden tent. View our map here!

If I donate at the Walk, when will I see it online?  It could take a few weeks for your donation to appear online but we will be uploading as quickly as possible!  We appreciate your patience!

Where are the restrooms?  Restrooms are located inside the ballpark along the concourse & can be accessed through the Left Field Gate, which is the gate closest to the stage. Restrooms will be available in sections 120, 135, 137, 137 Family Restroom, Lower Harry the K’s (located behind left field). View a map of the Citizen’s Bank seating chart here to view the sections. Again, you will need to enter Left Field Gate to access the stadium restrooms. Portable toilets are located in Lot S, same lot as Registration, & near our Food Trucks located along Citizen’s Bank Way towards Xfinity Live!. View our map here!

Will there be team photos? Yes! There will be two locations depending on your team size.

Large teams (40+ members) can proceed to Large Team photos which will be located in Lot S (near the corner of Phillies Drive & Citizens Bank Way)

Teams smaller than 40 members should go to the team photos located at the Left Field gate.

Will there be something for kids to do? We sure do! Kids Korner will be located near the Left Field Gate close to the stage. We will have crafts, balloon artists, & fun mascots throughout the morning. We will also have access to "The Yard" which is located in Ashburn Alley (inside the ballpark) from 10:30am-1pm for kids to enjoy. Make sure your kiddos get their Promise Garden flower too!

Where can I find the Team Village? Congratulations to our teams who fundraised $6,000 or more by Saturday, October 27, 2018! Team Village is located by the left field gate near the stage! View the map here to locate Team Village! Shout out to our teams who earned access into the Team Village!
