is participating to honor:
Thom's Grandma June
I'm participating in The Longest Day to show my love for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, but especially, my husband's Grandma - Ruby June Reid. June, as she's known, is one of the most vivacious women I know, even at the age of 96. Still, the June we know today, is vastly different than the one I met 13 years ago. Alzheimer's disease has robbed her of many of the memories she held so dear. Thankfully, June is surrounded by many wonderful caregivers, and gets support from her local Alzheimer's Association Chapter.
On June 21, I am joining others around the world and doing what I love to honor people living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and those lost to the disease, while raising funds and awareness to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Together, we can show those facing Alzheimer's disease they are not alone. Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s and provide care and support to those facing the disease today.
The Power of a Donation
The dollars you raise fuel the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
