I am dancing to help bring awareness to the fight against Alzheimer's disease, and I need your help!
I have too many connections to Alzheimer's: my fiance's grandfather Juan I, Madrid and Grandmother Barbara Lee "Bobbie" Thrasher, as well as the multitude of families that have touched me during my work.
I am a native of Albuquerque, born and raised here. I'm the second youngest of five children. I graduated from West Mesa High School, then attended Arizona State University and later earned my MBA. I live on the West Side, where I share my happy home with my handsome soon-to-be husband, fiance Arsenio L. Sanchez III and our little girl Mocha (our Chihuahua).
I am blessed, God has not only given me one strong beautiful loving Mother but three: Sophia Anaya, Victoria M. Sanchez and Pam E. Thasher.
I had a career change in my mid-thirties and entered the medical field, where I met my future husband, Arsenio. Since then, I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some amazing people in Albuquerque's Long Term Care Community - not to mention the strong heroes that I have had the pleasure to serve while working in the Long Term Care Field; Durable Medical Equipment, Home Healthcare, Hospice and most recently Assisted Living & Adult Day Care. I feel truly blessed to work alongside my friends, Preferred Assisted Living and Adult Day Care owners Lynn Blake and Tracy & Matt Ayers as their Director of Marketing.
I love cars, working on my home, spending time with family and friends and my job! My dance experience is mostly limited to nightclub amature dancing, so please donate generously in support of this worthy cause!
