Born in Columbus, GA in 1973. My family moved to Albany in 1980. My mother and father are Don and Cheryl Ogle. I am a “middle child” to two wonderful sisters, Tiffany Ogle and Paige Harrell. I have a wonderful supporting husband Dal Spring. I have an amazing daughter, Langston, and I am an aunt to the coolest nephew ever, Rhett Harrell. I am a graduate of Valdosta State University. I am a Dental Hygienist at Longleaf Dental in Albany, GA. I work for three incredible doctors, Dr. Jeff Singleton, Dr. Charles Clark, and Dr. Martin Clark.
Growing up, I always loved to dance. I was two years old when my grandparents went to Hawaii and brought me back a hula skirt and top. Once I put it on, my hips just started swaying back and forth. I have loved to dance ever since. Being a wife, mother, and having a full time job, there is little time for exercising, so I used my dance skills to teach Zumba. I get to express myself with some Latin, hip hop, and even a little country style dancing.
When I was around 18, my Dad’s father Paul Ogle was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. It was terrible to have to watch the effects that it had on my Papa Paul and the rest of the family. Since then, I have known other’s with Alzheimer’s Disease. My co-worker’s mother and father and a patient at Longleaf is battling right now. Having to witness the effects of Alzheimer’s is horrible. I am no scientist, nor medical doctor. All I know to do is to help raise awareness and money to hopefully someday find a cure for this horrible disease. I have participated in The Walk to End Alzheimer’s and now to put my dancing talents to use by dancing to help raise money for such a great cause. If you know or have known a loved one with this disease, please help me by making a donation for this cause.
