I am a Columbus native now living in Harris County. I am proud to see the great progress our broad community has made in improving our city, our uptown attractions, and giving back to support those in need. The Georgia chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association has been phenomenal in spearheading this event and leading a strong commitment to fund research for this devastating disease. I have seen the impact of Alzheimer’s through both friends and family and I am honored to participate in the fight for a cure.
I have two wonderful children, a son Cannon (18) and daughter Wellsley (15), whom I always encourage to find ways to help those in need, pay-it-forward, and lead with your heart. While I may be no stranger to a dance floor, I certainly have no formal training and have never participated in such an organized event; so when asked to participate, it was a daunting request. However, I am excited to join my fellow participants and dance my part in the fight for a cure!
I invite you to join us in the fight, donate what you can, and ask for your vote in the challenge before us. God Bless!
