Fundraising Honor Roll

Ah, Dancing Stars of Columbus...What can I say, a star is born! In all seriousness, I am excited about this year’s event and am beyond thrilled and honored to dance for such a good cause in honor of Ed Sprouse, a man I deeply admire. I can’t wait to put on my boogie shoes and raise much needed funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association of Columbus.

I was born and raised in Columbus, GA. Home Sweet Home. After graduating high school and realizing Broadway was not a viable option, I attended The University of Georgia with a degree in Speech Communication. I figured the best chance I had at getting out of college was talking my way out. It worked! After being in the corporate world for a couple decades, including jobs with Synovus, The Columbus Museum and Aflac, I decided to honor my midlife crisis and become a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines. I earned my wings over 3 years ago and have not looked back. I enjoy working my dream job while still living in my hometown and honoring those roots. Not to mention it lets me be close to the real loves of my life, my fabulous nieces and nephew.

I grew up dancing at Patty Taylor’s Dance Academy, and have loved the stage ever since. However, that was decades ago. But I look forward to brushing the cob webs off my dancing shoes and getting back in touch with my inner Tina Turner. Just pray for my dancing partner Brantley, he sure could use the prayers!

Again, I am honored to be among this year’s Dancing Stars of Columbus cast, and I look forward to seeing you all on April 5 at the big event. Thank you in advance for your support of the Georgia Alzheimer's Association!
