Dr. Chasity Renee Reese, D.O., M.S. 

Born in Houston, TX and raised in Jackson, MS, much of Chasity’s childhood encompassed navigating the challenges of the deep south and dreaming of becoming a doctor. Her dream intensified as she endured the role of primary caregiver for her now deceased grandfather and grandmother. Chasity started this journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science from Dillard University in New Orleans, LA. She later obtained a Master of Science in Biology from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. Her dream became closer to reality when she was accepted into the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She successfully completed medical school and participated in additional medical training in Alabama and Virginia. She is board certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is currently a practicing physician with the Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital and serves as an Assistant Professor at Auburn University - Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She was awarded Preceptor of the year 2017-2018 for Columbus Regional Medical Center from the VCOM Auburn Campus Medical Students, Excellence in Student Clinical Education at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Early in life, Chasity was bit by the dancing bug. She developed her skills at a local dance school, performed on drill teams in Elementary, Middle and High school. She was a part of the Academic Performing Arts Center (APAC) in Jackson, MS. She later danced with Dillard University Diamond Dance team. One of her greatest joys was dancing with The Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive Dance Program in New York City, NY. Chasity is also very active in her community and finds it her divine responsibility to give back to her community. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Gamma Tau Omega Chapter), The Columbus, GA Chapter Links, Inc., Junior League of Columbus, The Urban League of Columbus Young Professionals, The American Osteopathic Association, The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and The American Academy of Family Physicians. She loves swimming, shopping and traveling. Chasity is a member of Greater Beallwood Baptist Church where she serves as a Co-Director of the Youth Dance group. She is married to Attorney Teddy Reese, Esq. They have one daughter, Catherine Louise Reese.




Tremaine “Teddy” Reese, Esq.- JD, MPA

Exceeding his own expectations has long been the driving force of Tremaine “Teddy” Reese. Born and raised in the very small town of Gordon, Georgia, Mr. Reese would become the first in his family to attend a college or university. He graduated from Albany State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He later graduated with a Masters in Public Administration from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia in 2005. To further advance his career and ability, in May 2012, Mr. Reese graduated Cum Laude from Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Bar where he clerked for the Honorable Marc L. Lubet with the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Felony Division. He is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia. 

While at Albany State University, Mr. Reese was involved in numerous clubs and organizations. He served as Student Government Association President for two consecutive terms (2001-2002, 2002-2003). It was in 2002 that he founded and held the very first Annual Student Leadership Conference at Albany State University. He also served as Vice President of the Delta Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In 2003, Mr. Reese was named the Alpha Phi Alpha District of Georgia College Brother of the Year. Mr. Reese has served on committees at the request of the former Governor of Georgia, Sonny Purdue, the former Secretary of State, Cathy Cox, and the University System of Georgia. Mr. Reese received the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals Outstanding Student of the Year Award in 2003, the Center for Legal Education Opportunity Diversity Leadership Award in 2012, and the American Bar Association Law Student Division Golden Key Award in 2012. Mr. Reese’s previous employers include GEICO Corporate, Wilkinson County, Georgia, and the City of Atlanta. 

Mr. Reese involvement includes the American Bar Association and the National Bar Association since. He is proud and honored to have served as the American Bar Association Law Student Division National Chair for the 2011-2012 year. Mr. Reese worked with Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice as a Staff Attorney and Director of Community Engagement, 2013-2017 and worked with The Wright Legal Group as a Senior Attorney from 2017 - 2018. He is now the principal owner and managing attorney of The Reese Firm, LLC. He was named to the 2014 Columbus and the Valley Magazine, Top 5 Under 40 Professionals, Rural Leader Magazine Top Professional Under 40 for 2016 and Georgia Trend Magazine 2016 Top 40 Under 40. He graduated with the 2014 Class of Young Game Changers through Georgia Forward and graduated with the Leadership Georgia Class of 2015. 

Mr. Reese works closely with the Columbus, GA community. He is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is a member of the Fountain City Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association and the Columbus Inns of Courts. He also serves on the Planning Advisory Council for the City of Columbus. He enjoys volunteering and working for the betterment of others. Additionally, he enjoys fishing, traveling, reading and playing softball. Mr. Reese is married to Dr. Chasity Reese, who is a family physician with Columbus Regional Hospital. They have one daughter, Catherine Reese.
