My name is Margie Neal Norman and I am so excited to be participating in Dancing Stars of Columbus this year! I love to dance, I watch Dancing with the Stars on TV, and I want to help fund Alzheimer’s research…I had to say yes!
I was born and raised in Columbus. I graduated from the University of Alabama in Sports/Fitness Management and UAB in Physical Therapy. I have worked for GlaxoSmithKline for sixteen years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative in Respiratory. I have enjoyed helping patients live fuller, healthier lives through my work as a physical therapist and through marketing medicines. I love living in Columbus with my husband, Steve, and our wonderful children, Tripp, Heidt, and Bebe.
Dancing has always been a part of my life. I loved watching my parents dance together for fifty years of marriage. Because my father had two daughters and a wife who all loved to dance, we kept him busy on the dance floor. I was in several of Patty Taylor’s dance reviews as a child, but I focused mostly on gymnastics, cheerleading, and tennis. Alzheimer’s has affected many of my beloved family member and friends. I consider it an honor to raise money by dancing for patients and families affected by this horrible disease.
Please vote for me and my talented dance partner, JJ Harrison (vocalist at St. Luke’s The Nine). I need your support to reach my goal! I hope you can make it to the party to cheer us on!
