Hi I’m Kimberly Keys and I am so very honored to be dancing for the Alzheimer’s Association. I have lived in the Atlanta area for almost 25 years with my husband Bobby and 2 beautiful daughters, Steely & Evan who are both grown and now gone from home. While my children were growing up I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom where many of my days were spent volunteering for numerous philanthropic oorganizations. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Norcross Meals on Wheels.

I have always had a passion for dance and have been blessed with the opportunity to dance with some fantastic groups in my lifetime but I have never danced ballroom. My late mother and father-in-law were both ballroom instructors in their small Mississippi town and my father-in-law was so accomplished he had the chance to dance with Cissy King, of Bobby and Cissy on the Lawrence Welk Show. Cissy told my father-in-law he was the best partner she had ever danced with and he never forgot her words! My sweet dancing father-in-law passed away last August and suffered from dementia and Alzheimer’s. However, he is not the only one I am dancing for as I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s in 2001 and watch as friends and family continue to be diagnosed and suffer from this horrific disease.

I feel as if one of my God given talents is serving others and providing help in time of need. So today I am dancing to help fund research and find a cure for Alzheimer’s. Thank you for your support!
