is fundraising to honor:
her mom, Pearl Lenhart
For the past few years I witnessed my mum suffer the heartbreaking effects of dementia. When we lost her in April, I was shocked and saddened by how many friends, colleagues, and students shared similar stories. Today, over 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. And there is no cure.
Join me on Saturday, June 22, for my 2nd annual donation-based PILATES+ class as part of The Longest Day, a fundraising initiative to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. New York Health & Racquet Club has generously donated the studio for this event and 100% of each donation will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Even if you can't join the class, I hope you'll consider making a donation today.
