Fundraising Honor Roll

Family and Friends,

My name is Brittany Turner and I am thrilled to be participating in "Dancing with the Stars" of Central Georgia to help bring awareness to the Alzheimer's Association.

I grew up in Newnan, Georgia and graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education.  After graduating from college, my husband, Mitchell, talked me into leaving my hometown and we moved to Macon.  After living in Macon for almost nine years, I consider Macon the place we call home and where we raise our two boys, Tristan and Troy.

I am a teacher at the Academy for Classical Education where I teach middle school Business and Computer Science as well as high school Marketing.  My favorite part of teaching is when student’s eyes pop open with excitement after they have learned something new. I also hope I can also help build character in each and every student that I teach. If I am not teaching you will probably find me at a baseball, football or soccer field with my two boys. I enjoy going to church at Ingleside Baptist, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Please join me on this life-changing journey to help raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness. I have not been affected personally by Alzheimer’s, but I am dancing for those who have been. I hope to bring awareness and help those in need with your contributions. It’s an honor to be asked to participate in Dancing with the Stars of Central Georgia, but I need your support to do my part!  Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance their research into prevention, treatments, and a cure for Alzheimer’s. You can sponsor me, buy a ticket for the event, or simply vote for me here!

Thank you for joining the movement to end Alzheimer’s!
