Hey everybody! My name is Carolyn Shuler, and I am thrilled to be a participant in Dancing Stars of Columbus to benefit Alzheimer's.
I was born in Columbus, attended Brookstone School for 13 years, and graduated from the University of Georgia. I am back at my high school alma mater teaching 7th and 8th grade social studies and coaching middle school cheerleading. I now live in Uptown Columbus and have loved watching our city grow into a vibrant community of art and entertainment while maintaining its rich history.
Watching this competition benefit the Alzheimer’s Association over the years has inspired me to help in some small way. I watched my beloved grandmother and long-time Columbus resident, Bobbie Schladensky, struggle with this terrible disease for over 15 years, unable to carry on the conversations that we used to have, unable to do so many things that she used to enjoy. I am grateful to be a part of helping fund this worthy cause.
Thank you to the Alzheimer’s Association for this awesome opportunity and thank YOU for your support!
