"Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give." - Ben Carson
"It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." - Mother Teresa
Hey, hey, my name is Robert Bairstow and I am a native Atlantan committed to a cause bigger than myself. For the past 5+ years I have had a special place in my heart for giving back to a world that has given so much to me while doing my best to give more than I receive. In today's society, this can be extremely difficult with the constant lure of temptations and isolation from those in need.
Today, we have an amazing opportunity to help change the lives of millions of families and friends that surround us. With more than 5 million Americans currently having Alzheimer's, that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million in 2050, just over 30 short years from today. Our future and the future of our loved ones is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Alzheimer's is a terrible disease that I have seen first-hand in many friend's parents and grandparent's lives. While there is currently no cure, the projected spike in cases is extremely disheartening. It is my belief with your help and support we can cure this disease before those numbers hit in 2050.
I have been fortunate enough to spend spare time with great organizations such as this across Atlanta and the world! Whether it is volunteering my time at Shepherd Center as a chair on the 36th year of SCJC, my second year as a board member of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's FJC, my fourth year going to Kenya, Africa to help with water filtration and construction projects, or countless opportunities with kids of Convenient House, City of Refuge or Habitat for Humanity, my heart is dedicated to bettering the future generations to come.
I am honored to be working with a fabulous company, Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby's International Realty and am blessed to have sold well over 18 million dollars in real estate within my first two years in the business. Aside from helping families buy and sell real estate in the Buckhead, Brookhaven and in-town markets, I enjoy spending my time outdoors while boating, hiking, hunting or just being with great company.
I look forward to "dancing", tripping and hurling myself across the dance floor with a professional in hand in honor of this incredible organization and mission to cure Alzheimer's. Thank You for any prayers, support, love and donations you can provide.
Sincerely with love and Roll Tide!!
