My name is Leigh Porterfield and I was born and raised in the Augusta area. I attended college in Athens at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). After graduation, I had the opportunity to temporarily relocate to St. Louis where I began my career. I moved back to Augusta, and started growing my practice as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Investments.
I have a sister, two younger brothers, and two step-brothers. I am blessed to have my entire family also residing in the Augusta area with the exception of my sister, brother-in-law, and two nephews down in Savannah.
I enjoy traveling and being outdoors, whether that's kayaking, going to the beach, riding my bike, or taking my 1-year old Golden Retriever (dog child), Maddex, for walks at the canal.
Outside of one year of competitive cheerleading in my youth, I have never danced before and consider myself to have "two left feet". I am dancing for two of my great grandmothers, Meme and Great Grandmother Porterfield, who both lost their battle against Alzheimer's, and also for my clients who are affected by Alzheimer's disease. I have seen what this disease does to families and also their finances, and that is why I am passionate about doing whatever it takes to find a cure.
Together we can make a difference and #EndAlz! Vote for me! 1 vote = $1!!!
